1. What We Collect

Only what you give us and what makes the app work:

• Your account: Name, email, and password when you sign up. That's it — no school ID or LRN required.
• Class records you add: Students, attendance, grades, school forms, messages with parents — whatever you choose to enter to manage your classes within .
• Basic device info: Phone model, Android/iOS version, and which parts of you use. This helps us fix bugs and make things work better.
• Optional extras: Profile photo, biometric login (fingerprint/face — the scan stays on your phone, we never see it), and camera access for scanning attendance/QR codes inside .

2. What We Do With It

• Run the app: save your records, sync between devices, send parent messages.
• Keep your account safe and let you log back in.
• Process subscriptions if you upgrade (via Google Play on Android, or PayMongo on the web version of ).
• Send important emails: verify your email, password reset, receipts, and rare service updates about .
• Fix bugs and improve using general, anonymous usage patterns.

3. What We *Never* Do

• ❌ We never sell or rent your personal info — ever.
• ❌ We never use student names or class data for advertising.
• ❌ We never see your credit card — payments are handled directly by Google Play or PayMongo, not by .
• ❌ We never share your data with third parties except as listed in section 4.

4. When We Share Data

Only in these rare, limited cases:

• Inside your school group within : Teachers in the same school account see the shared classes, students, and records they're part of. Parents see only their own children's info.
• Trusted services we pay to run : Secure server hosting, email delivery, payment processors. All contractually bound to protect your data.
• If legally required: A valid court order or subpoena. We'll notify you first when legally allowed.
• If you ask us to: With your explicit permission.

5. How We Keep It Safe

• 🔒 Everything you send to is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS).
• 🔒 Passwords are one-way scrambled with strong bcrypt — we can't read them, and never store them as plain text in .
• 🔒 Only a tiny, trusted team can touch production data, and only when needed for support.
• 🔒 Regular backups and security monitoring.

6. Your Rights & Control

It's your data. Within you can always:

• View, edit, or update your profile and class records right in the app.
• Export your records in a machine-readable format — just ask.
• Delete your account. We'll delete your personal data within 30 days. (Some shared records may be kept by other teachers in the same school until they also delete them in .)
• Unsubscribe from non-essential emails any time — they include a one-click unsubscribe link.
• Turn off permissions (Camera, Notifications, Biometrics) for in your phone settings any time.

7. Children & Minors

is built for teachers, schools, and parents. Children under 13 (or the applicable age of majority in your country) may NOT create accounts on their own. Every account registration requires the user to explicitly declare, under our signup agreement, that they are either (a) 18 years of age or older (or the legal age of majority in their country), or (b) a parent or legal guardian creating an account for a minor student under their supervision. We only receive student information when a teacher or parent enters it for legitimate classroom use inside . If a child's info was ever added without proper adult consent, contact us and we'll remove it right away from .

8. Cookies

In the web version of , we use a few small cookies and local storage only to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. No third-party tracking. No ad cookies. You can clear them any time in your browser.
